UPDATE FROM JEFF DAVIS SNP:
Jeff Davis County Schools School Nutrition Program (SNP) is currently going through an Administrative Review from Georgia Department of Education (GADOE). Through this review, it was discovered that the meal pricing was not in compliance with new guidelines. Meal prices have not increased in Jeff Davis since 2019 but the district has experienced growing costs in food, deliveries, and labor since that time. Therefore, a corrective action had to be developed to address this issue and be approved by GADOE. Beginning in January 2024, there will be a price increase for the following:

The price increases above were reviewed by GADOE and presented to the Jeff Davis Board of Education for approval as part of the corrective action. The Jeff Davis Board of Education approved the increases at their 12/11/23 board meeting to meet compliance guidelines from GADOE.
