Parent Pickup Information
Important Afternoon Pick-Up Information – Please Read Carefully!
If you will be picking up a student in the afternoons, please read the information below and review the attached graphics.
Pick-Up Line Opens at 2:00 PMThe pick-up line will open at 2:00 PM each day. Please do not arrive before 2:00 PM.
The entrance gate off Broxton Hwy will remain closed until 2:00 PM.
Cars are NOT permitted to park or wait on Broxton Hwy before the gate opens!
Which Lane Should You Use?
RIGHT Lane (Green Signs)Pre-K
Kindergarten
LEFT Lane (Blue Signs)1st Grade
2nd Grade
Any family picking up students from multiple grade levels (for example, Pre-K & 2nd Grade together or Kindergarten & 1st Grade together), use the LEFT lane.
When You EnterFollow your designated lane until you reach the "STOP HERE" sign.
Please remain stopped until a staff member signals you to pull forward.
Students will be loaded on the passenger side of your vehicle.
Pre-K & Kindergarten release will begin at 2:30
1st & 2nd Grade release will begin at 2:40
Exiting the CampusAfter your child is safely loaded, you will exit onto Pat Dixon Road, where you may turn either right or left.
Pick-Up Tag ReminderA visible pick-up tag is required to pick up your child.
Pick-up tags are $5 and may be purchased at Open House.
If you have a JDPS pick-up tag from last school year, bring it to Open House, and we will reactivate it at no charge.
Please note: Only tags that were used last year at JDPS can be reactivated. Tags from JDES cannot be used.
